Cell phones and it’s impact on everyday life

It’s hard to imagine the impact cell phones have on our everyday life. Especially since a lot of people nowadays rely on them for so much. They can do just about anything. They are small and lightweight and are basically small computers. Now they weren’t always this way. The picture on the upper left depicts an earlier model of a cell phone. They were big, bulky, and not easy to carry around. Years later have produced the models we see on the upper right. Keep in mind this just didn’t happen overnight. It took years and introduction of new and advanced features.

Above is a list of features all cell phones out today now carry. Whether we want them too or not. “The First Mobile Phone Call Was Made 40 Years Ago Today. On April 3, 1973, Motorola employee Martin Cooper stood in midtown Manhattan and placed a call to the headquarters of Bell Labs in New Jersey.”

“In 1983, Motorola released its first commercial mobile phone, known as the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X. The handset offered 30 minutes of talk-time, six hours standby, and could store 30 phone numbers. It also cost £2639 ($3995).”

Now that we’ve covered a brief history of cell phones it’s easy to see why they are so addictive to some. With all of these features you are still susceptible to damage and theft. Always take the necessary precautions to guard your phones. For some people there cell phone is there life. Others a means of staying In contact with family & friends. Whichever your purpose be sure to use your phone responsibly.

I’m sure many of us have seen commercials promoting smart devices. Which are devices that promise to make things easier in our daily lives. From answering questions to playing your favorite songs. Things are getting more futuristic as time goes on. It’s easy to see how these devices can appeal to everyone. So many options to choose from. You have Amazon echo, and Alexa. Google Home and home mini. Apple homepod just to name a few.

Why you should get a Smart Home Device?

You have the ability to connect to other smart home hubs. You can listen to your audio books. Check the weather, and even make online purchases by voice. Most importantly listen to your favorite songs. If this sounds exciting to you then do yourself a favor and buy one. Be sure to double check and make sure it meets all your needs.

Eyeing the future

The demand for connecting all your devices into a central hub is steadily growing. Although it may be a convenience for you. It opens the possibility of a security breach. Ask yourself is it worth the risk? Now that is for you to decide. Some people may view home devices as a good thing, and others not so much. If you decide to purchase one always check the price and it’s features.

Digital currencies – The coin revolution is here

             Welcome to the age where everyone wants to get rich. If you’ve invested money in emerging companies such as Bitcoin you’ve struck gold. If you’ve missed the gravy train it’s not too late to invest. Due to their popularity many competitors have emerged. Companies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and Ripple.

The popularity of digital currencies is on the rise and there’s no slowing down. Paper currency is losing it’s appeal but still remains strong. Whichever option you choose be sure to take your time and have fun.

The main concern with digital currency is security. How secure is it ? Is it safe to use? These are questions everyone should be concerned with. Keep in mind nothing is 100% full proof however there are steps you can take to help secure your hard-earned money.

You have both incoming & outgoing threats to contend with. Losing the value of your investment on the inside and thieves trying to still your money from the outside. There are VPN’s (Virtual Private Network) you can use to stay secure for online browsing. As well as the use of antivirus software and cloud based security. Be extra careful if you view your digital currency from your mobile phone. The worst thing that could happen is losing it and someone has access to your information.
